Our third day at Disney was a visit to Epcot Centre. There were a handful of fun attractions, but we found overall the park catered to groups of partiers looking to \u201cdrink the world\u201d as they travelled around the various pavillions. Our final Disney day was at Hollywood Studios which didn\u2019t have a whole lot to offer and we only ended up spending about half the day there before getting bored and heading back to the campground.

We were tempted to take a break before going to the Universal Studios parks but the threat of lousy weather later in the week helped us decide to go the following day. Universal had a buy 2 days get 2 free promo on so essentially a 4 day pass cost the same as a 2 day. We questioned whether we would want to visit each of the two parks twice. After a day at each we\u2019d had our fill and opted not to return and dole out another $25 per day for parking and 30 minute commute by motorcycle from Kississmee into Orlando proper. The highlight for us was probably the Simpsons ride being fans of the early days of the show, but Gareth lamented it having replaced the Back to the Future ride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After 6 days of theme parking, we had a couple days off to catch up on work and trip planning and enjoy the Tropical Palms. The weather had taken a cooler turn while we visited Universal but improved again on our last days in Kissimmee enough that we enjoyed visiting the pool. But after 10 nights our time there was drawing to a close and we got ready to head further south.

We decided to break up the trip from Kissimmee to Miami and the Keys by spending one night somewhere in between. There weren\u2019t a lot of options, but we did end up finding a place through \u201cHarvest Hosts\u201d which is a website we joined that connects RVers to businesses such as wineries and farms. We stayed in a nice little winery just outside the coastal town of Fort Pierce. The stay didn\u2019t cost us anything but we did end up buying several bottles of wine to enjoy at a later date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
